REGISTRATION AGREEMENT

MALAYSIA-RC.COM is dedicated to promoting networking and contact between enthusiasts of all kinds of remotely-controlled or autonomous models whether they be cars, buggies, helicopters, airplanes, boats, planes and others. This site is exclusively intended as a medium for these enthusiasts, to make contact with each other, share their experiences, give and receive guidance and generally exchange views on the hobby of modelling- in particular radio controlled modelling- and items of ASSOCIATED INTEREST (cars, bikes, boats & railway, race talk, aviation, photography, mechanical info etc). Matters falling outside these bounds are not to be posted here.

The forum is managed by team of Malaysia-rc. Following recent developments and the rapid growth of the forum, Moderators are given a broad discretion to edit or delete posts, reconcile, caution, warn or ban forum members as they see fit with no recourse available to any forum member aggrieved by any Moderator action.

Undesirable posts are as follows;

1) posts that may incite racial hatred or tensions
2) posts totally devoid of any factual or entertainment value
3) posts that attack any person more than dealing with the topic of the thread.
4) posts (text or image) that authorities or common judgement may deem obscene or immoral
5) posts posted in inappropriate boards and not in and the spirit of the topic of conversation
6) postings that may look like 'Multiple Topic Bombardment'
7) posts that is political in nature
8 ) posts that uses languages not commonly understood by the majority in this site

Desired practices are as follows;

1) posts are to be posted in the appropriate given the board they are in and the spirit of the topic of conversation
2) posts on technical matters pertaining to RC should be kept as on topic as much as possible.
3) endeavor should be made to ensure posts on RC Technical matters are accurate and relevant
4) posts in Bahasa Malaysia shall be in commonly used language.
5) minor deviations to the rules will be tolerated as long as some entertainment value can be seen in the content.

Other matters:-

1) only hobby stores which have sponsored the forum will be allowed to advertise their products on the forum (see elsewhere for appropriate rules)

2) decisions by Moderators or the Forum Administrator are final and are not subject to appeal or review (including judicial review).

3) your creation of an account on this forum shall be conclusive evidence against you of your acceptance of these rules AND those set out as follow :-

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is:-

3.1 - False, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International law.

3.2 - Any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material.

3.3 - Spam, troll, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are strictly forbidden on this forum.

3.4 - Avatars such as advertisment, sexually oriented, vulgar, threatening and etc. are prohibited.

3.5 - No advertisement of hobby shop is allowed except Site Sponsor.

3.6 - Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify the forum Administrator or Moderator of this forum immediately.

3.7 - The forum Administrator or Moderator reserve the right to remove irrelevant content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.

3.8 - You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages and also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this forum, any related websites to this forum, its staff, and its subsidiaries.

3.9 - The Administrator or Moderator of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.

3.10 - You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an Administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason. We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.

3.11 - Due to security purposes, forum members are advise to change user passwords from time to time.

3.12 - After you have register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed with or without prior notice.

3.13 - Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

3.14 - Forum members are strictly to adhere the rules & regulations set at classifieds thread for rc related items.

a. Only R/C related Items are allowed.
b. Only for Private Sellers not on Commercial basis.
c. Only Pre-Owned Items are allowed
d. Seller must have a minimum of 10 posts in any Thread at this website except Classifieds thread (post will not count in Classifieds thread)
e. Only Direct Sale allowed, no third party allowed.
f. Postings will have a 60 Day lifespan. Extension only on request basis.
g. Sale of Multiple items allowed
h. You are required to fill up the template provided.

3.15 - Moderator reserves the right to Delete Classified Threads without publicly furnishing reasons.

3.16 - Justice and fairness can seldome be acheived to a 100% level. In this regard, the Moderators will endeavor to exercise fair judgement and can only hope to please the majority.

4) these guidelines and any of the forum rules may be reviewed, revised and amended from time to time by the Moderators and Forum Administrator and such revision or amendment shall be binding on you. In the event you do not accept the amendments, please PM to the Moderators for deletion of your account immediately.
